At FX Barcelona Film School, we believe in talent and passion. It doesn't matter if you haven't completed high school or taken the university entrance exam; what matters here is your eagerness to learn and grow in the world of digital arts. If you are over 18 years old and want to make 3D animation, video games, or VFX your profession, then this degree is for you.

2 years that will allow you to transition to our specialized programs

The main focus of the Pre-University Cycle is to help you discover, develop your talent, and solidify your vocation so that you can shine and find out which field you want to specialize in, and later choose your FX Degree to begin your professional journey towards the workforce.

1st and 2nd academic years: during the first two years, you will combine your training in the basics of design, photography, drawing, and 2D animation up to the fundamentals of filmmaking, acting, creativity, and the basics of digital arts. During these initial two academic years, we will help you solidify your vocation and discover which is the best degree for you based on your skills and professional goals.

Vocational project: at the end of the second year, you will have successfully chosen your area of interest. As a culmination of the training, you will design and create a personalized final project in your area of interest: presenting the idea, seeking resources, and interviewing professionals/faculty in the area of interest, designing, planning, and executing the project.

Upon completion of your training, you can enter one of our degrees to start your professional career in the industry.
