Film analysis workshop
This film history analysis workshop allows access, guided by the most renowned critics in the national field (Quim Casas, Àngel Sala, Màrius Rubio, Guillem Comas, and Victor Esquirol), to the analysis of cinema (authors, styles, eras, genres, or movements) through a journey through the history of cinema in 15 films.
The objective of this workshop is for the student to approach the critical analysis of a cinematographic work, achieving a global and organized view of Film History. In each class, a film will be screened to exemplify the themes addressed by the professor in the analysis, thus establishing a dynamic for debate.
Through practice and analysis, the student will understand the cinematic language, the director's work, the tools for storytelling, the actors’ work, the meaning and rhythm of images, and how to conduct a film analysis and critique with a critical eye.
This workshop is available starting March 7, 2024, and is divided into different bundles according to the sessions one wishes to attend: 5 Films, 10 Films, and 15 Films.
