At FX Barcelona Film School, the Advanced Master's in Cinematography blends aesthetic creativity with technical expertise, preparing you to lead the ever-changing landscape of film production. This program is designed for those looking to excel in the dynamic realms of modern cinematography, including traditional film sets, emerging digital formats, and cross-media visual storytelling. The Advanced Master's is aimed at students of Film, Audiovisuals, Photography, and 3D, as well as individuals with basic knowledge of film and photography seeking to specialize as Directors of Photography. You will master all types of exterior and interior lighting, both on set and on location, and will also be able to perform color corrections in your projects. You will work with large format cameras (short films, documentaries, web series, and advertising), practice 360º filming and VR, artificial and virtual set lighting, and learn post-production techniques and filming with digital effects. You will actively participate as part of a photography team (DOP, camera operator, focus puller, etc.) in shoots related to short films, documentaries, web series, and advertising created by Film Direction students, while also integrating into the professional shoot teams of the production company SeñoraX Productions.
